Press and media attention for the new TQC Hull Roughness Analyser:
Materials Performance – Nominees for the MP Corrosion Innovation of the Year Awards
TQC’s Hull Roughness Analyser is nominated for the Corrosion Innovation of the Year Award 2014.
Honoring the most important innovations impacting corrosion control today, the awards showcase progressive technological developments in all aspects of corrosion prevention and mitigation and recognise the innovators who have created revolutionary solutions to combat corrosion and protect vital assets from its damaging effects. Innovations go beyond marginal improvements to current products, services, methods, and techniques.
The highest-rated innovations will receive the awards on 10 March, 2014 at the world’s largest corrosion conference and expo, NACE International’s CORROSION 2014 in San Antonio, Texas.
The Motorship – New TQC roughness gauge
Dutch manufacturer TQC has developed a new product to add to its range – the DC9000 Hull Roughness Gauge.
The gauge is said to exceed current standards used for hull roughness surveys.
Paintsquare – TQC Launches Hull Roughness Test Gauge
Dutch developer TQC has extended its range of test products with the release of the DC9000 Hull Roughness Gauge, billed as “the next evolutionary step in hull roughness surveys.”
Ship hull roughness increases because of corrosion and/or biofouling, which can hamper a vessel’s performance and drive up its operating costs and CO2 emissions. The gauge helps shipowners measure and control the roughness of a ship’s hull.
cTech – New hull roughness gauge from TQC said to surpass industry standards
TQC, the Netherlands-based manufacturer of testing and measurement equipment, has announced the launch of a new Hull Roughness Gauge.
